Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Apollo Projects LLC, doing business as iScanPhoto (“we,” “us,” or “our”), operator of Solar Chart, collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website and services (the “Service”).

1. Information we collect

• Account information — your email address and a securely hashed password when you create an account.
• Chart inputs — the birth date, time, and location you enter to generate a chart. Location lookups are performed to determine coordinates and time zone.
• Order & shipping information — your name, shipping address, and order details, needed to produce and deliver your products.
• Payment information — processed directly by Stripe. We receive confirmation and limited details (such as the last four digits of your card) but do not store full card numbers.
• Technical data — basic log and device information your browser sends automatically when you use the Service.

2. How we use your information

• To generate your chart and fulfill and ship your orders.
• To create and maintain your account and order history.
• To process payments and prevent fraud.
• To respond to your inquiries and provide customer support.
• To operate, maintain, and improve the Service.

3. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the Service, including:

• Stripe — payment processing.
• Our print-on-demand & shipping partner — to print and deliver your order, we share your chart artwork and shipping details.
• Geocoding provider — to convert a place name into coordinates and time zone.
• Our email provider — to send order confirmations and shipping notifications, we share your email address and order details.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

4. Cookies

We use cookies that are necessary for the Service to function — mainly to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. Your shopping cart is not a cookie: it is kept in your browser’s local storage, stays on your device, and is never sent to us until you check out.

5. Data retention

We retain account and order information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service and meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations. You may request deletion of your account as described below.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, email us at hello@getsolarchart.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including hashing passwords and processing payments through a PCI-compliant provider. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children’s privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest revision.
